Solar Powered Garden Lights

In the range of available garden lights the Solar Powered Garden Lights take a special place. They have some great advantages over all the other powered lightnings available in the shop, they do not need power by cable or battery. So no digging in the garden to lay an hide the cables for power, no drilling holes in the house to lead the cables through and no connecting it to the electrical installation in the house. The solar powered garden lights can function only by collecting sun light during the day in a build in cell that is capable to transform the sunlight into a small current that can be used to feed a small light bulb or a LED lamp to produce the light for the evening.

The current produced during the daytime is collected and used to charge a small battery cell witch will deliver the current for the evening. A little build in foto cell detects that the light from the day is getting less strong, and at that moment the battery gives his power to the lamps. So they do not use the current in daytime. Energy is collected and saved in daytime to produce light in the evening. Even if the sun is not shining full, or not at all, energy is collected and is used to store it in the battery solely from the daylight, so it is not neccesary to have the sun shining all day to produce enough energy for the evenig light.
